Aims and Scope

Al-Azhar University center journal of viral and genetic researches and studies " aims to:

  1. Encourages research that contributes significantly to the advancement of knowledge in microbiology and immunological applications.
  2. Helping to find a cure for various viral diseases that deepen diagnosis, which cause diseases affecting humans, animals and plants.
  3. The journal also contributes to the enrichment of viral genetics, a study of inherited genes found in genes responsible for viral infections such as the doubling of the structure of the genome and some proteins that play an important role in causing viral disease.

Areas of research coverage of the magazine:

  1. Tissue culture and its practical applications in the cultivation of viruses and conduct toxicological tests and the effectiveness of drugs on them.
  2. Genetic and related studies of the different genes of viruses related to virus replication and the important enzymes of the activity of the virus.
  3. Molecular Biology Science and related to it from: -
  4. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and its uses in the diagnosis of viruses and detection of genes important for the growth of the virus.
  5. DNA Finger print and its uses in the characterization of viruses and their classification and taxonomy to assist researchers in their study.
  6.  DNA sequencing and its importance in the study of viral genes, which makes it easier for researchers to create a cure for it.
